Brazilian subsidiary passes DIN-EN-ISO-9001:2015 certification

On 28 April 2017, AKRO-PLASTIC do Brasil Indústria e Comercio de Polímeros de Desempenho Ltda successfully passed its certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. The company, a subsidiary of Niederzissen-based AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH, is headquartered in Itupeva, Brazil. AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH is the specialist for innovative and application-oriented plastic compounds. Engineering thermoplastics and masterbatches from Feddersen Group-division AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH and its branch AF-COLOR are developed and produced in Niederzissen, Germany. In 2014, bioplastics were added to the portfolio, and the BIO FED branch was established in Cologne. Over the past 25 years, the company has enjoyed steady growth and today is a source of comprehensive expertise in the area of plastics compounding, with an annual global production capacity more than 100 000 tons. The company specialises in the processing of standard plastics and engineering plastics.
