AKROMID® T9 GF 15 S1 black (7820) is a 15% glass fibre reinforced, cold impact strength polyphthalamide with medium stiffness and strength, as well as high chemical resistance. The compound is based on PA9T and has lower moisture uptake than conventional PA6T variants. This leads to a significantly higher consistency of the glass transition temperature and higher strength at elevated temperatures especially in conditioned state.

AKROMID®
AKROMID® T5 GF 20 8 black (6456) is a 20% glass fibre reinforced polyphthalamide with average rigidity and strength, as well as high temperature and chemical resistance. This aromatic PPA keeps mechanical performance even at elevated temperatures as well as moisture pic-up. The material fulfills the requirements according to ACS, WRAS and NSF 61. It is suitable for applications that are in contact with cold and hot drinking water. This material corresponds to the European food guideline EU 10/2011 and to the American FDA 21 CFR and is suitable for parts of kitchen and household appliances.
