It is characterised by a high stiffness and toughness as well as good chemical resistance. This formulation is GMA free (glycidyl methacrylate) and meets the VW-50136 standard. Furthermore, the material impresses with very good dimensional stability due to its low moisture absorption. Therefore, the material is perfectly suitable for technical precision components in applications in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, E&E and household goods industries with increased humidity.

AKROMIDĀ® C3 GF 30 1 FR black (7243) is a 30 % glass fiber reinforced, flame retardant and heat stabilised PA6/6.6 blend. Listed to UL 94 in all-colours, the material is based on a flame retardant system that is free of red phosphorus and halogens. Due to its good flowability, an improved surface quality is achieved. This grade is also suitable E&E applications (e.g. control cabinets) as well as for railroad applications and meets the requirements for public transportation (EN 45545-2 R22/23/24 HL3).
