PPA – Polyphthalamide PPA GF60
AKROMID® T9 GF 60 black (7754)
AKROMID® T9 GF 60 black (7754) is a 60% glass fibre reinforced partially aromatic polyphthalamide with very high stiffness and strength, as well as high temperature and chemical resistance. The compound is based on PA9T and has lower moisture uptake than conventional PA6T variants. This leads to a significantly higher consistency of the glass transition temperature and higher strength at elevated temperatures expecially in conditioned state.
Parts with tight dimensional tolerances even under high mechanical load.
The listed values are recommendations. Higher values should be used for higher glass loadings. We recommend only de-humidifying or vacuum dryers. Extensive drying can cause filling problems and surface defects.
