AKROLOY® PA GF 50 8 black (4173) is a 50% glass fibre reinforced, semi-aromatic polyamide blend with very high stiffness and strength, as well as reduced moisture absorption, modified for the respective application.

Typical applications

Components with tight dimensional tolerances even under high mechanical load, especially in food industry. It is a very cost effective alternative for zinc- and aluminium diecast alloys.

Processing information

The listed values are recommendations. Higher values should be used for higher glass loadings. We recommend only de-humidifying or vacuum dryers. Extensive drying can cause filling problems and surface defects.
