Update: Storm disaster in the Eifel region
Two months ago, a severe storm disaster hit the Eifel region in Germany and caused immense damage and unimaginable human suffering. The resulting negative effects will continue affecting said region and the people who live in it during an extended period of time.
But what will also be remembered in connection with the catastrophe is the indescribable readiness to help, the great cohesion and the humanity, which the affected people have experienced in the last weeks. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all business partners of AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH, its branches and FEDDEM GmbH & Co. KG. We are also very grateful for the so numerously expressed, honest sympathy, your understanding and support that reached us in so many ways.
Considering the large number of employees who were and still are personally affected by the severe weather disaster, we had anticipated a significant negative impact on our operating business. However, thanks to the collegial commitment and the team spirit among all employees, we succeeded in continuing the business in a stable manner and supplying our customers with sufficient materials.
Since our sites in Niederzissen were not directly affected by the flood and the employees concerned were able to resume work at the plants in the meantime, we are pleased to inform you that we do not expect any further negative effects on the operational business of AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH, its branches and FEDDEM GmbH & Co. KG.
We would like to thank you once again for your support over the past weeks.
