PRECITE® Hydrolysis

In humid environments, the chains of polyesters are susceptible to attack. A typical automotive test involves exposure to 85°C and 85% humidity for 3000 hours. As a shorter test equivalent, 200 hours in NaOH is also used. After undergoing these rigorous tests, the mechanical performance of our product remains robust, retaining no less than 50% of its original performance before storage. This ensures reliability and durability in demanding conditions.
